The Western dragon and the Eastern dragon
Once upon a time, an eastern dragon and a western dragon met each other. They both greeted each other and exchanged usual dragon formalities. The Western, at a certain point, could not avoid noticing how his interlocutor carried along his serpentine body wonderful jewels, some even more splendid than the ones he defended back home. With his draconic heart starting being filled with envy, he asked:
“Those are really impressive jewels I see! Where did you get them?”
“They are all gift that were given to me by the humans from where I live” the Eastern dragon answered.
The Western dragon could not believe it. “How do
I once had a dream so vivid and alive that I couldn't tell I was sleeping. Me and my siblings playing outside on a sunny spring day. We were chasing each other that morning, it was fun and so simple. In many ways I wish it was real and would never end.
At lease in my dream I understood the rules to the game. If it was your turn then chase the others until you caught them. Hiding was fair game and if you where the one being chased whatever you do, don't get caught. However as most dreams do, it ended so abruptly. To me I sat down to catch my breath and leaned back on the tree behind me. The cool bark was soothing against the back of my head.

Old Friend, New Story
Darkness was everywhere. It filled the cave I slept in like water in a deep hole. You couldn't even see where you where going before I dug out a small skylight. Looking up at the very, very small hole in my roof I was lost in thought on pointless things, or maybe they where not quite pointless. After all, everything has some wisdom in it.
I tell myself that when I spend the days away thinking or doing small crafts. Its hard to find things to do when your a dragon in a cave. Flying! Oh flying, that's right I could fly to entertain myself. I LOVED flying!!!... Only its day out ... and I don't fly during the day. I lowered my head in disappoint
So today I felt passion. I love feeling passion for what I do. I don't always feel it but when I do it makes everything worth it. And in feeling this passion I was thinking/meditating (as I do when walking the mile to work) I wondered why I don't feel it more often, and then compared that to the general mindset that the "older days" where more fulfilling. I asked myself why do we feel after reading a book of stories long ago or bringing to mind life "way back when" does it feel like people have more fulfilling lives then what people do now? So I am thinking this and then feeling passion at the same time and it kinda clicked for me.
There I
On this night I look out over the hill from the parking lot of Home Depot to a view of the land below. It is dimly lit by a full moon and clouds look like ships sailing in an endless black sea. My heart seizes at the view when a feathery breath of crisp spring air comes over the edge and blows past me. Oh how I long to spread wings and leap into the sky and feel its energy flow around me. Electrified by the luminous light poring out of the great white moon. Only at this moment do I wish to fly, for it has been much time since last I felt so. And yet, at this moment I would be at most danger, should a soul see me fly overhead. Oh how it would

And here you have the number one question that people ask me:
"How the hell did you get so many people to view your art? You're not even that good!"
I can't do anything other than honestly admitting that I'm not that good at art. I'm not some awesomely skilled concept artist, at least. I've seen many people do a better job while receiving a lot less of attention.
Why a medium like DeviantArt works for me? Probably because I've been around on the internet for so long, and I've spend so much time working for internet-marketing company's, that things like advertising and web usability have become a second nature to me. A lot of the things that
